$599.00

Become a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner in the Himalayas

January 8th - 12nd 2027

Immerse yourself in the ancient practice of sound healing during this intimate four-day training at NEO Farm Retreat, nestled in the hills above the Kathmandu Valley. Surrounded by regenerative food forests and the rich biodiversity of a wildlife corridor, this immersive experience combines professional training, deep personal restoration, and a connection to one of the world's oldest sound healing traditions.

Designed for complete beginners as well as wellness practitioners looking to expand their skills, this training requires no previous musical or healing experience. With a maximum of just five participants, you'll receive personalised guidance, hands-on practice, and plenty of one-on-one mentoring throughout the retreat.

Upon successful completion, you will receive certification through “Singing Bowl and Gong House”, Kathmandu, Nepal, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence to begin offering sound healing professionally.

Throughout the retreat you will explore both the practical and theoretical foundations of sound healing, including:

  • Meditation and altered states of consciousness through sound

Biodynamic Farming & Regenerative Agriculture Immersion
$299.00

January 20th - 24th 2027

Learn by living it.

Spend four immersive days learning the principles and practice of biodynamic farming while contributing to a living regenerative agriculture and wildlife restoration project in the hills above Kathmandu, Nepal.

Hosted at NEO Farm Retreat and facilitated in partnership with the Kevin Rohan Memorial Eco Foundation (KRMEF), this hands-on intensive offers an introduction to biodynamic agriculture through real work on a functioning community farm. Rather than simply learning in a classroom, you'll spend your days applying the principles directly in the landscape—building healthy soil, preparing biodynamic composts, planting trees for a wildlife corridor, and tending abundant food gardens.

Designed for complete beginners as well as gardeners, farmers and sustainability enthusiasts wishing to deepen their understanding, the course combines approximately 25% theory and 75% practical fieldwork. Participants should be reasonably fit, as the farm is situated on Nepal's beautiful terraced hillsides where much of the learning takes place outdoors.

Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion in Introduction to Biodynamic Agriculture.

What You'll Learn

Over four days you'll gain both a philosophical understanding and practical experience in biodynamic farming, including:

  • The foundations and philosophy of biodynamic agriculture

  • Understanding soil biology and building living, healthy soils

  • Working with the biodynamic calendar and the rhythms of nature

  • Biodynamic preparations and their practical application

  • Compost making and nutrient cycling

  • Regenerative agriculture principles

  • Designing and maintaining productive vegetable gardens

  • Food forest systems and perennial agriculture

  • Restoring biodiversity through wildlife corridors

  • Community-based ecological restoration

Most importantly, you'll experience how these ideas come together as one holistic approach to farming—one that nurtures healthy ecosystems, resilient communities and abundant food production.

Learn Through Practice

This intensive is built around the belief that the best way to understand biodynamics is to experience it.

Throughout the retreat you will:

  • Create biodynamic compost and preparations

  • Work with living soils

  • Plant trees as part of an expanding wildlife corridor

  • Care for productive food gardens

  • Observe regenerative farming systems in action

  • Participate in the daily rhythms of a working farm

Every activity directly contributes to the ongoing development of NEO Farm and the surrounding community landscape, allowing your learning to create a lasting positive impact long after you leave.

Learn from Nepal's Biodynamic Pioneers

The course is facilitated by Krishna Gurung, founder of the Kevin Rohan Memorial Eco Foundation, alongside the KRMEF team and Sujesh Ale, founder of NEO Farm Retreat.

Krishna Gurung is one of Nepal's pioneers of biodynamic agriculture and has spent more than 25 years working alongside rural communities to regenerate landscapes, improve livelihoods and promote environmentally responsible development. His work has been recognised nationally and internationally, earning six national awards and invitations to lecture at universities and conferences around the world. Through KRMEF, he continues to demonstrate how biodynamic agriculture can strengthen ecosystems while empowering local communities.

Sujesh Ale brings years of practical experience in permaculture, natural farming and regenerative enterprise development, sharing the lessons learned from building NEO Farm into a thriving food forest, wildlife corridor and retreat space where ecological restoration and community are at the centre of every decision.

About the Kevin Rohan Memorial Eco Foundation

The Kevin Rohan Memorial Eco Foundation was established to honour the life of Kevin Rohan Gurung by creating opportunities for Nepal's most underserved communities to thrive through sustainable agriculture, education and community development.

The foundation's mission is to foster health, resilience and environmental stewardship through practical education that empowers people to create lasting change within their own communities. Biodynamic agriculture forms the heart of this work, alongside initiatives in education, healthcare and rural development.

By joining this intensive, you are supporting and participating in that ongoing mission.

Retreat Experience

Your four-day experience is shared between two unique locations.

The Group will be split to spend two nights at NEO Farm Retreat, surrounded by regeneratively managed food forests overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, before swapping accommodations to Rituals & Retreat, our peaceful glamping property nestled closer to the Champadevi hiking trail, where you'll spend two nights immersed in nature.

With a maximum group size of just 10 participants, the course maintains an intimate atmosphere where questions are encouraged, practical skills are demonstrated in small groups, and everyone has the opportunity to participate fully.

Your Intensive Includes

  • 5 day Biodynamic Farming Intensive

  • Certificate of Completion in Introduction to Biodynamic Agriculture

  • Expert instruction from Krishna Gurung, the KRMEF team and Sujesh Ale

  • Approximately 25% theory and 75% practical learning

  • All farming equipment and course materials

  • Notebook and pen

  • Airport transfers or pickup from Kathmandu city

  • Four nights' accommodation (split between NEO Farm Retreat and Rituals & Retreat)

  • Shared or private accommodation options
